Kyle Swannack

Coach Kyle Swannack (Swanny) originally from Renton, Washington, recently moved from Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada to California. Swannack brings years of playing at a national Juco and Division 1 Level, as well as coaching various levels of high school and collegiate baseball. Coach Swannack played College Baseball at Junior College Powerhouse Bellevue College (Bulldogs) in Bellevue, WA where he was the starting pitcher in the championship game to help Bellevue defeat Lower Columbia for the 2011 NWACC championship. After Bellevue, he transferred to Pac-12 Washington State University (Cougars) in Pullman, WA where he was a starter that transitioned to a bullpen role for the Cougs. Swanny finished his playing career in 2013.

Following Coach Swannack’s playing career he jumped straight into coaching as a Graduate assistant at WSU where he looked over various coaching roles, mainly working with the pitching staff from 2013-2014, before getting his first college coaching job with the Tacoma Community College in Tacoma, Washington as the pitching coach for the 2104 and 2015 season. Following his time at Tacoma Swannack then took a job at Division 2 Central Washington University where he was pitching coach for the 2016 season.

Coach Swannack also coached up in Medicine Hat, Alberta with the Medicine Hat Mavericks of the WMBL. His first season was in the summer of 2014 where he coached alongside DTD owner Adam Shorsher. Coach Shorsher and Coach Swannack in their first season coaching together won the 2014 WMBL Championship. They would coach alongside each other for the 2015 season before coach Swannack came back to the Mavericks in 2017 and in 2018 where he would help bring the trophy back to the Hat in 18’.

Swannack is married to his wife Taylor they have two children together, Kinsley (5) and Olsen (1).

They currently reside in Cupertino, CA.
